Collaboration
Office
The Head Start Collaboration Office was created through a
grant from the Administration for Children and Families, A.C.F.
and the State of Rhode Island, Office of the Governor. The
Office was placed at the Department of Human Services in the
fall of 1996, in the Office of Individual and Family Support
Services, I.F.S.S. This Office operates the States cash
assistance program for needy families and children, the Family

subsidy program, and a host of other important services including
